A good quality cameo glass footed bowl. The yellow ground overlaid with deep violet then acid etched and wheel carved with a design of waterlilies & aquatic plants. Intaglio signature ‘D’Argental’ with the 'Croix de Lorraine' .

• ‘D’Argental’ was the trade name for cameo glass produced at the glassworks of St Louis under the direction of Paul Nicolas, a former employee of Emile Galle.
