An exceptional Art Nouveau / 'Symbolist' figural bronze inkwell modelled as a 'Poppy Maiden' in what appears to be the lotus position. Signed 'M. Maignan'.

French, Circa 1900.

CONDITION: Very good antique condition with general marks & wear commensurate with age & usage. Glass ink receptacle missing.
