Gaston Bigard - 'La Cigale' Paper Knife

A bronze paper knife, the handle modelled with a cicada. The underside cast with an olive branch and a motto in Provençal dialect Lou Souleu Me Fai Canta "The Sun Makes Me Sing" in reference to the cicada, a symbol of Provence in France. Signed G. Bigard.
